An intelligent virtual assistant that can perform tasks or services for an individual after learning his/her patterns in everyday life, face recognition-based walk-through access control, AI security to protect the citizens, companion robots to provide companionship for the elderly in the contactless era, AI·robotics for smart factories help us understand where we are in terms AI·robotics that are adopted fast across the entire society and industry. As Korea's largest AI and robotics research institute, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Institute is carrying out R&D activities on core technologies of AI, next generation media, and robot to resolve pending issues of our society and industry. Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Institute is taking the lead in the efforts to secure outstanding performance of Korea on the global stage by converging the technologies encompassing all those areas.
